Peeling

Peels (chemical peels) consist of the application of one or more ablative chemical agents to the surface of the skin.

They are used to create a controlled lesion of the skin, destroying the epidermis (superficial peeling) and part of the dermis (medium or deep peeling), promoting skin regeneration and tissue remodeling, which improves the appearance and the texture of the treated skin.

Such chemical peels are used to treat a variety of skin conditions including acne vulgaris, actinic or solar keratosis, melasma, and scarring.

Chemical peels induce the lightening of dermal and epidermal pigmentation, the reduction of facial erythema, the improvement of inflammatory acne, reduce the height of scars, improve the texture and elasticity of the skin, as well as provide brighter and clearer of the same.
