Marionette lines

The main change observed in the lower third of the face is ptosis of the labial commissure, which results in a depressed triangular area at the corner of the mouth, increased mentolabial groove, formation of marionette lines and decreased concavity between the jaw and neck.

To correct marionette lines, hyaluronic acid is infiltrated from the lateral corner of the mouth to the mandibular edge, filling these lines and thus reestablishing the volume of the area, camouflaging the double chin.
