Lip-Lift

The lip-lift shortens the distance from the base of the nose to the edge of the red lip and everts the vermilion by excising the skin and advancing the tissue.

Lip augmentation with fillers or fat can increase fullness, but it does not shorten the distance between the nose and the vermilion, unlike a lip lift.

It should be taken into account that this technique can also be used for reconstructive surgery in case of perioral aesthetic sequelae.

Proper patient selection, precise preoperative planning to avoid overcorrection and asymmetry, and meticulous surgical technique to minimize visible scarring optimize results.
